One of TWB’s academic mentors, Daniele Noel, is hosting a focus group to help improve SALNA. Daniele helps us out a lot so if you’re studying engineering or technology please help her right back (if you’re available on the 23rd from 12:30 to 1:30).
Would you like to participate in a student focus group for SALNA?
Swinburne Academic Literacy Needs Assessment (SALNA) is designed to help Swinburne students assess their academic literacy skills and learn how to interpret assignments, develop arguments, structure and reference their work. SALNA is not part of the assessment requirements of any course and is used as an opportunity to get instant feedback on academic and language skills and get information on the support and resources available.
They’re looking for 10 students for each faculty focus group. During this 1 hour session, participants will complete SALNA and provide feedback on the content, navigation and design of this system. By participating you will play a valuable part in helping us improve SALNA and increase its visibility and accessibility to all students. It’s a great opportunity for you to share your thoughts and ideas on how the university can improve this service.
The following dates and times have been arranged for each faculty. If you can attend, please email email@example.com the faculty focus group you’ll participate in.
